Discover the flavor-packed world of dumplings!
In this hands-on experience, Chef Terry will teach you how to make a Gyoza style pork and shrimp dumplings. You will learn how to make a traditional Gyoza filling, a dipping sauce, master stuffing and pleating Gyoza wrappers and then cook your dumplings in a cabbage-lined steamer. You will then enjoy tasting your own dumpling creations. For those wishing to try their hands at crispy, browned pot stickers, instructions will be given on how to your steamed dumplings to make pot stickers at home.
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).
