It's time to make the doughnuts!
In this fun, hands-on and interactive class, you will master the art of making baked cake doughnuts from scratch. Our experienced award-winning and multi-certified Chef Instructor will guide you step-by-step in replicating the process of making, kneading, proofing, resting and shaping the dough.
You will learn all about the different types of dough used, the differences between them, and how to create your own gourmet style doughnut flavors. You will experiment with homemade icings and fillings, as well as some unique and tasty toppings.
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, most of which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).
Please arrive on time, wearing your mask. The class takes place in Chef Vince's studio apartment, with a 6ft table set up as a working space. Guests will also work in the kitchen. Chef Vince is maintaining a sanitized space, for your safety, as per CDC guidelines. Disposable gloves will be provided for guests to utilize throughout the class and extra masks are available if needed. Guests are invited to BYOB beer, wine, or champagne.
