It's time to make the doughnuts!

In this fun, hands-on and interactive class, you will master the art of making baked cake doughnuts from scratch. Our experienced award-winning and multi-certified Chef Instructor will guide you step-by-step in replicating the process of making, kneading, proofing, resting and shaping the dough.

You will learn all about the different types of dough used, the differences between them, and how to create your own gourmet style doughnut flavors. You will experiment with homemade icings and fillings, as well as some unique and tasty toppings.

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, most of which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).

Please arrive on time, wearing your mask. The class takes place in Chef Vince's studio apartment, with a 6ft table set up as a working space. Guests will also work in the kitchen. Chef Vince is maintaining a sanitized space, for your safety, as per CDC guidelines. Disposable gloves will be provided for guests to utilize throughout the class and extra masks are available if needed. Guests are invited to BYOB beer, wine, or champagne.

Chef Vince is a multi award winning and certified chef. His restaurant experience includes The Rainbow Room, Mr. K's Chinese Restaurant, Sardi's, and The Ritz Carlton to name a few. Chef Vince has also cooked for 4 United States Presidents, two of which while in office as President Bush's and President Obama's per diem personal chef on domestic flights aboard Air Force One. Chef Vince brings his expertise directly to you in a small class setting and gives the time and attention you need to learn and gain the confidence to continue what you learn in class at home.

Where the class will be
Guest requirement
At this time, all guests are required to wear masks during class regardless of vaccination status. Your chef instructor will wear a mask throughout the entire class as well. Guests will be allowed to remove their masks when eating and drinking. Our classes are set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment. Feel free to BYOB-beer, wine, or champagne only please! Street parking is available. Please look for the sign for the "Orient Ave Lofts". Once you've arrived please call Chef Vince's cell phone number (which will be provided in your confirmation email). He will come down to greet you. Guests will be required to walk up two flights of stairs to enter the unit where class will be held.
Cancellation policy
Reschedule request have to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. Cancellations are not permitted and tickets are non-refundable.See terms and policy.
