Once you learn the techniques on how to create the dough, roll it out, and cut them into noodles, you will have mastered the basics of pasta dough that can be turned into ravioli, orecchiette, pappardelle, agnolotti...you name it! In this class, you will be making linguini pasta with your hands, and also learn to make spicy Vodka and tomato sauce to coat the noodles. Accompanying your Italian meal is broiled asparagus with bubbly parmesan. This spread is a crowd pleaser that you will want to recreate at home for your lucky guests!

Master the tips and tricks of putting together a beautiful Italian meal from scratch. Consisting of fresh hand-made linguini pasta, scratch made Vodka and tomato sauce, and finally a side of broiled asparagus with parmesan, this energetic hands-on class will require you to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty! Chef Manifa is only accepting up to 8 people for each class so this is a perfect occasion for a romantic date night, a team building event, or a unique family get-together.

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Find out about our favorite resources in Los Angeles for sourcing ingredients and basic equipment for recreating the menu at home. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting.

Meet your chef instructor
Chef Manifa is a classically French trained chef working in the field for over 15 years. She has lived in New York, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Los Angeles. Her global travels have strengthened her culinary repertoire to include catering work, restaurant settings, culinary t.v. production, private chef work as well as work as a culinary instructor. Manifa loves to teach and get people comfortable in the kitchen, no matter what their skill level. Let Manifa bring out the inner chef within you!

Where the class will be
Guest requirement
The class will take place in Chef's personal home, where Chef will implement safety and sanitation measures per CDC guidelines. Guests are invited to BYOB wine, champagne or beer. Guests are also encouraged to bring their own aprons to class, otherwise chef’s aprons will be provided. Masks should be worn at all times and gloves will be provided. You will be seated with your party, otherwise social distancing guidelines will be in place.
Cancellation policy
Reschedule request have to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. Cancellations are not permitted and tickets are non-refundable.See terms and policy.

Absolutely amazing experience. Everything was so well thought out down to every detail. Manifa is a stellar and patient culinary educator. Her home is inviting and relaxing. We had so much fun and learned a lot. We didn’t make the asparagus (I forgot about it until now honestly), but the snacks we had while cooking and the pasta were more than enough.

Manifa is amazing. It was super fun learning to cook with her. I don't cook often, but she somehow knew when to come in and help and when to let loose of the rein. This was such a comfortable and fun atmosphere. Would definitely recommend anyone learning to cook to try out her class!
