Escape to the bustling streets of exciting Barcelona while exploring the world of Spanish Tapas!
In this energetic and interactive class, you will be greeted with Pan con Tomate prepared by our Chef Instructor to enjoy upon stepping into our class. Once settled in and your aprons donned, you will then proceed to learn how to master three restaurant-worthy tapas which are well-renowned in Spain. Our Chef Instructor will enlighten you on the background of Tapa culture, before taking you through a detailed demonstration of how to construct each of the dishes. You will then be guided step-by-step in replicating how to make three classic Tapas including Red Wine & Honey Chorizo Bites, Gambas al Ajillo (Garlic Shrimps) and Patatas Bravas. After creating your Spanish masterpieces you will indulge in your Tapa creations to your hearts content! Buen Provecho!
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the culinary enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting. You will work with other students in groups of 2-4. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, especially if you’re part of a large group. Soft drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. Outside drinks are not allowed. 21+ only.
Born under the sun-drenched skies of Florida, Chef Scott has always had a passion for flavor,family, and the art of bringing people together through food. Though Florida was home for the first few years of life, it was in New York—amid the bustle of multicultural neighborhoods and iconic delis—where Chef Scott was raised and first exposed to the diversity and vibrancy ofworld cuisine. Inspired by family traditions and the melting pot of the New York culinary scene, He soon set sights on the professional kitchen. That dream led westward to California, where he trained under acclaimed chefs and refined their technique in some of the state’s most innovative kitchens. In 2018 Chef Scott launched his own culinary brand— quickly earning a loyal following and critical acclaim. Now, after years of success in California, Chef Scott is coming full circle—returning to Florida to bring his culinary vision back to where it all began.
