Japanese Ramen

Description

Escape to the streets of Tokyo as we create this infamous winter warmer, Japanese Ramen Noodle Soup! This class is perfect for anyone who enjoys Asian cuisine and wants to learn more about how to recreate these flavors at home!

In this fun, hands-on class, you will be guided step-by-step in recreating this popular noodle soup dish, renowned for its rich broth, abundance of noodles and endless toppings! First, you will be trained in some foundational knife skills used to chop all of your fresh ingredients. You will then learn how to balance flavors to create your Ramen chicken bone broth whilst adding chicken and egg as your proteins along with an assortment of vegetables.

Learn how to cook your noodles and add all the extras that make a deliciously authentic dish! Once you have created your soup sensations, you can have fun customizing your bowl with a variety of traditional garnishes and toppings. Before the end of class you will receive a takeaway container to bring your Ramen home with you to enjoy free from wearing a mask.

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, most of which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).

Please arrive on time, wearing your mask. Please note that class will be hosted in Chef Samantha's home with ample space to social distance booking parties from one another. Chef Samantha is also maintaining a sanitized space, for your safety, as per CDC guidelines.

She followed her passion by moving to Florida to work for Disney and later attended culinary school at Orlando Culinary Academy's Le Cordon Bleu program. Her passion then led her to become a Culinary Instructor and loves to share her knowledge with people who want to learn.
