Asian Dumplings

Description

Discover the flavor-packed world of dumplings!

Master the basics of folding dumplings into a variety of traditional shapes. You’ll get a chance to make your own dumpling dough from scratch. Practice your knife skills and learn how to make your own fillings: chicken & vegetarian cabbage, carrot, and mushroom options are available. Learn techniques for steaming and pan frying your dumplings. We'll share our favorite resources in Atlanta for sourcing ingredients and basic equipment for dumpling making at home.

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. Drinks are not included in the ticket price, but guests are invited to BYOB (beer, wine, or champagne).

Where the class will be
Condesa Coffee
480 John Wesley Dobbs Ave NE #100, Atlanta, GA 30312
At Condesa, we’re passionate about details. The details of a perfect shot of espresso from Baroida, Papua New Guinea, an Ethiopian pour-over, or our homemade chocolate syrup – they matter. We care about the things that we give you, continually sourcing from high quality vendors and creating relationships with our customers. Our coffee comes from Counter Culture Coffee and our tea from Rishi Tea. Ingredients for our small plates are organic, and frequently homemade. We are committed to good urbanism and are proud to be part of our beloved Old Fourth Ward community. We are located in the Tribute Lofts, at the corner of Freedom Parkway and Boulevard, steps away from the Jackson Street Bridge, with a beautiful view of the city and the Martin Luther King Jr Historic Site. The Freedom Parkway Bike Trail passes just outside our patio nestled away in the trees. We serve the Georgia State University Campus, the Downtown residents and the Sweet Auburn Historic District visitors.
