Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and learn how to create your own fresh sushi rolls like a pro? You are in for a special treat!

In this highly interactive and hands-on class, the Chef will let you in on tips and tricks of making delicious sushi rolls, from preparing the perfect sushi rice, cutting the fresh ingredients properly, and the art of rolling. This casual and easy to follow class will surely engage all your senses! All participants will make three different rolls - Tuna, Salmon, and a vegetable based roll such as California Roll. You are invited to let your creativity flow and try rolling with seaweed both inside and out and mix and match different ingredients to develop your own unique creation.

All you need to bring to this class is your curiosity and appetite! You can be confident this class will be an absolute delight whether the occasion is for a family activity, team building event, or surprising your partner on a romantic date night. This event is BYOB - Japanese sake or beer is highly recommended! Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, wearing your mask.

Meet your chef instructor
Chef Edgar is a seasoned professional sushi chef. After obtaining a culinary certification from CSA California Sushi Academy in Los Angeles in 2009, he has worked in several high end sushi restaurants in the LA area for over a decade.

Guest requirement
This class is BYOB - bring your favorite beer, wine, and champagne! Japanese sake is highly recommended and will pair well with the sushi rolls we will be making during the class. Please make sure to read through all dietary information. Plan to arrive 15 minutes early to check in, wearing your masks. All guests will be required to show proof of full vaccination in order to participate in class. Your Chef Instructor will be checking vaccine cards and apps during check in. All guests are required to wear masks during class, except when eating and drinking. As a result, booking parties will be socially distanced from one another while eating. The nature of our classes are set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment.
Cancellation policy
Reschedule request have to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. Cancellations are not permitted and tickets are non-refundable.See terms and policy.

I had a wonderful time learning to make sushi from the chef. We were able to bring drinks for next door. We sat next to a wonderful group of individuals who amplified the experience even more. I learned lots of kitchen/pantry tips. Even reassured some of the decisions I had made in my own pantry.

Our experience was over the top amazing! Edgar is very knowledgeable in the art of sushi and made this class extremely enjoyable. He uses his 12 years of experience to educate beginners at a pace that is welcoming and approachable. Our instructor, Chef Cregg, has so much personality, very knowledgeable and passionate. He made our class fun. My only comment is I wish all the groups that came together had knives and chopping boards of their own so they won’t have to wait to share . Other than that the instructor was very informative and if he’s teaching another class I would definitely go again.
