And yes! you will get to use the blow torch to create that perfect sugar crust (under Chef Esther's careful supervision.)

In this wickedly indulgent class, our experienced Chef Instructor will guide you step-by-step, in how to recreate this silky smooth, sensual dessert in a specialty patisserie quality fashion in your very own home. At the conclusion of your class, devour your decadent creation or if you can wait, pack it to go for a special treat that evening.

Once you have finished making you dish, we will enjoy together and say cheers to celebrate the fruits of our labor!

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets in case you wish to recreate the dish on your own after the class. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).

Meet your chef instructor
Born and raised in Ecuador, Chef Esther is a Certified Pastry Chef, specializing in vegan, gluten free, and sugar free substitutions. She is especially passionate about sharing techniques on creating Ecuadorian sweet treats, and enjoys creating new flavors and experiences for the guests.
Where the class will be
Guest requirement
Guests are invited to BYOB wine, champagne or beer. Guests are also advised to bring their own aprons to class. Masks are optional for those who are fully vaccinated. You will be stationed with your party, otherwise social distancing guidelines will be in place.
Cancellation policy
Reschedule request have to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. Cancellations are not permitted and tickets are non-refundable.See terms and policy.

Esther was a wonderful teacher, and an even better conversationalist as we learned the subtleties of creme brulee. She is very detailed with her technique and patient with her students. Her dogs were very cute and loved attention. I most certainly will take another course of Chef Esther if an opportunity arises.

Esther was a great host and teacher! She allowed us to make mistakes and was very accommodating. FEEDBACK: Her and I both agreed that there should be a COMMENTS section where you can leave notes on substitutes such as dietary restrictions, diabetic adjustment, allergies, etc. Esther made the adjustments on the spot and I am VERY appreciative and grateful for her experience and knowledge. Overall pretty great experience and happy to meet Esther. The class was great even for two first timers. Esther made us feel nice and welcome in her home, and answered all the questions from the participants. She was well prepared for the class and had a variety of different flavors we could add to our Creme Brulee. She handled herself very professionally with some rude neighbors, which I really appreciated.
