Escape to the bustling streets of exciting Barcelona while exploring the world of Spanish Tapas!

In this energetic and interactive class, you will learn how to master four restaurant-worthy tapas recipes, which are well-renowned in Spain. Our Chef Instructor will enlighten you on the background of Tapas culture, before taking you through a detailed demonstration of how to construct each of the dishes. You will then be guided step-by-step in replicating how to make four classic Tapas including Tortilla Espanola (Spanish Omelette), Pa Amb Tomàquet (Catalan Tomato Bread), Pimientos y Camarones (Peppers & Shrimp), and Croquetas de Verduras (Vegetable Croquettes). After creating your Spanish masterpieces, you will have time to sit down with a glass of wine (BYOB your favorite Spanish wine) and eat your Tapas creations to your hearts content! Buen Provecho!

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the baking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting.

Please arrive on time. Guests are invited to BYOB wine, beer, or champagne. Please note that class will be hosted in Chef Gill's home with ample space.

Meet your chef instructor
Chef Gill has worked in all facets in the foodservice industry. He has taught cooking for students training to be professional chefs at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Los Angeles and recreational classes for the home cook at The Gourmandise School in Santa Monica California, Hudson Table in Hoboken New Jersey, Cook Space in Brooklyn New York and Sur la Table in Los Angeles and NYC. He is a Certified Executive Chef, Culinary Administrator, and Culinary Educator. He is also a graduate of Johnson and Wales University and has a Graduate Certificate in Gastronomy from University of Adelaide Australia.

Guests are invited to BYOB wine, champagne or beer. The nature of our classes are set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment. Cancellation policy
Reschedule request have to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. Cancellations are not permitted and tickets are non-refundable.See terms and policy.

Chef Gill was great! Extremely professional and easygoing. You can have a conversation with him like you have known him for years. Our food came out fantastic. Between his knowledge and experience in the kitchen, it’s easy to tell that he is a very talented chef. The overall experience was EXCELLENT. Chef Gill is a great host and amazing professional. We both felt very comfortable and enjoyed every bit of the cooking session. It was very hands-on and completed in a very efficient manner. I would definitely recommend chef Gill and will be sure to sign up for more cooking sessions. It was fun and the whole experience exceeded my expectations.

My husband and I had a blast with Chef Gill! We felt very welcome in his beautiful home and especially in his kitchen. We learned some great new techniques that we will surely be using in our own kitchen. We made a variety of Spanish Tapas that were delicious and we received all of the recipes via email by the time we returned home.
