Classic Handmade Pasta

Description

There's nothing like handmade pasta and fresh tomato sauce! Immerse yourself in the retro vibes with this class which touches upon the nostalgia of comfort meals we love so much. In this hands-on class, you will learn to make Handmade Fettuccine Pasta from scratch.

Your Chef Instructor will guide you through making the perfect pasta dough, and with the help of rolling pins and pasta machines you will craft your own beautiful Fettuccine noodles. The Chef will describe different flours used to make pasta (such as semolina compared to all-purpose flour), and the different shapes of pasta. At the end of class, enjoy your pasta with a homemade Arrabiatta Sauce from fresh tomatoes, basil, chiles (optional) and Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Your Chef Instructor will send you home with the recipe so you can practice making it on your own.

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).

Guests in the same booking party will work together throughout the class by sharing ingredients and equipment. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, wearing your mask. Class is 21+.
