Japanese Ramen

Description

Escape to the streets of Tokyo as we create this infamous winter warmer, Japanese Ramen Noodle Soup! This class is perfect for anyone who enjoys Asian flavours and wants to learn more about how to recreate these flavours at home!

In this fun, hands-on class, you will be guided step-by-step in recreating this popular noodle soup dish, renowned for its rich broth, abundance of noodles and endless toppings! You will firstly be trained in some foundational knife skills used to chop all of your fresh ingredients. You will then learn how to balance flavours to create your Ramen broth whilst adding protein and an assortment of vegetables. You will finally learn how to cook your noodles and add all the extras that make a deliciously authentic dish! Once you have created your soup sensations, you can have fun customising your bowl with a variety of traditional garnishes and toppings before devouring your creation with your new found foodie friends!

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. You will work alongside other students in groups of 2-4. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, especially if you’re part of a large group.
