Hand-made Pizza Party

Description

Be transported to the streets of Napoli as you learn how to master the art of Pizza making!

In this fun and interactive class you will learn how to master the impressive skill of making pizza from scratch! You will begin by learning a bit of pizza history including its early beginnings, regional pizza variations and how it has transformed into the styles of pizza we know today! This class takes place inside a commercial kitchen of a pizza restaurant for maximum authentic experience. You will be able to get "behind the scene" and experience what it's like to be a pizza master at a down-to-earth neighborhood joint. Our Chef Instructor will take you through a detailed demonstration, before you will be guided step-by-step in replicating how to make a quick rising dough, how to choose the right flour, basic kneading techniques and how to achieve the perfect crust. We will be making Italy's most iconic pizza, the Neapolitan style, however you will be able to channel you inner Picasso as you choose from a variety of popular toppings to decorate your pizza!

Once you have finished making you dish, we will dine together and say cheers to celebrate the fruits of our labor!

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets in case you wish to recreate the dish on your own after the class. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, wearing your mask.

Both were very gracious hosts and were great answering all of our questions. One area of improvement would be to expand the cooking class to include making the pizza sauce and pizza doe from scratch. Since the sauce and doe was pre made, it only left rolling the doe, adding toppings, and cooking. I think many would appreciate the extra instruction of learning to make a pizza from scratch.
