Be transported to Paris' Le Cordon Bleu for an evening of French Pastry!

In this memorable, hands-on class, you will learn the art of French Choux pastry. Choux has the reputation for being difficult, but it’s surprisingly simple! Our Pastry Chef Instructor will take you through a detailed demonstration, before you will be guided step-by-step in replicating how to make the perfect choux dough, piping, baking and filling to create Eclairs and Cream Puffs! Master these easy recipes and you can make many pastries most bakers are scared to try! Before you know it you will have also learnt the basics to Gougères, Churros, French Cruller Donuts and Choux Beignets!

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. You will be seated with your booking group. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. 21+ please.

Chef Faith hails originally from Karnes City, TX just south of San Antonio. She began studying education at Texas State University before switching gears and baking here in Austin at Auguste Escoffier Culinary School of Culinary Arts. She has been in the industry for the last 5 years working in a high volume bakery and is a decorator and lead for her bakery in the daytime.

Cancellation policy
Reschedule request have to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. Cancellations are not permitted and tickets are non-refundable.See terms and policy.

Excellent! We really enjoyed ourselves and how we learned to make the pastry. Faith was very patient and sweet. The materials and ingredients were plentiful, and the instruction was easy-going. It is actually quite easy to make but she had some very good tips. Would have loved to learn to make pastry cream for the pastry but I understand there wasn't enough time. The whipping cream was very good. Perhaps another class learning to make perfect pastry cream...sign me up!
