Handmade Gluten-Free Pasta

Description

Transport yourself to Italy for an evening as you learn the craft of making fresh, Gluten-Free homemade pasta.

Guided by your Chef Instructor, you'll create fresh Gluten-Free gnocchi, mastering the steps to mix, shape, and roll delicate, pillowy gnocchi by hand. Next, learn how to prepare a simple yet delectable sauce featuring chicken sausage, caramelized onions, and a touch of black pepper. With a bit of audience involvement, your Chef Instructor will showcase how these ingredients come together to enhance your pasta perfectly. Once your gnocchi is cooked to perfection, everyone will sit down and enjoy! A vegetarian option is available, please notify the Chef when you arrive.

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. You will be seated with your booking party. Guests in the same booking party will work together throughout the class by sharing ingredients and equipment.  Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. Outside drinks are not allowed. 21+ only please!

Great instructor. Very attentive. Clear instructions. Great sense of Humor. She made a delicious sauce and was thoughtful by choosing Turkey sausage instead of pork! Would recommend and participate again.

I loved the class! Chef Quientina was lively, informative, and a good teacher. I feel like she really helped me get started to learning to make homemade pasta, which I hope to enjoy for years to come. Plus, the other attendees of the class were friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming. The only negative experience I had was the location/space. The class is held in an upper loft inside a brewery. Noise from the bar's music was loud and made hearing Chef Q very difficult -- even with the microphone she used. The space was also compact. My work area was a long table up against the railing looking down into the bar. With very little room to move and other cooks working on either side of me, getting in and out from behind my table was difficult. I sometimes chose to crawl under my table rather than ask the 3 people next to me to file out from behind our table so that I could get in and out.

Quientina was a great instructor! She was friendly, informative, and created a nice environment to learn. My only feedback was that it was a little hard to hear her and we were seated towards the back so it was hard to see when she was demonstrating. The space didn't really help, but maybe next time she could walk around more for demonstrations or feedback.
