Traditional Pad Thai

Description

Escape to the streets of Thailand as we create one of the most famous Thai classics, Pad Thai! Learn the cultural history of Thai cuisine and traditional techniques! Immerse your senses in the fragrant Thai bail and curry leaf. Learn how to julienne vegetables and hone your knife skills to ensure your final dish looks beautifully plated.

This one of a kind hands-on cooking class teaches you to cook from within the kitchen of the beautiful Boston restaurant, Bastille Kitchen. You'll learn first hand how to make your Vegetable Pad Thai, using a traditional Wok, from the restaurant's own Executive Chef. As part of your class, you will also learn to make your own Mai Thai, a rum-based cocktail, to enjoy along with your meal.

No experience necessary! The only requirement is a fun attitude and a love of good food. We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, wearing your mask. Additional drinks will be available for purchase from the venue. 21+ only please.
