In this fun and interactive class you will learn how to master the impressive skill of making pizza from scratch! Our Chef Instructor will guide you through a detailed demonstration, before you replicate how to make a your own dough, how to choose the right flour, basic kneading techniques and how to achieve the perfect crust. You will also make one ball of dough to take home. Pull it all together with your favorite classic toppings and enjoy your fresh and scratch made pizza!
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you do not already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who is happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).
Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. Aprons will be provided for you to use throughout class. Outside drinks are not allowed. Drinks are available to purchase at the venue's onsite store.
Chef Byron aka “Chef B” is an 18-year culinary professional trained at Le Cordon Bleu, known for his bold flavors, semi-homemade style, and hands-on teaching approach. As a chef, caterer, and educator, he has spent nearly a decade training students of all ages—ranging from at-risk youth to adult learners—helping many launch food trucks, earn supervisor roles, and start their own culinary businesses.
Chef B brings energy, humor, and real-world technique into every class. He teaches the “why” behind the food just as much as the “how,” giving students the confidence to cook at home with skill and creativity. His passion for teaching shines through his pop-ups, upscale dinners, his own dessert brand and his growing audience through YouTube and social media.
At CocuSocial, Chef B specializes in guiding everyday people through approachable, delicious recipes—starting with one of his favorites: fresh, handcrafted pizza from scratch. Students can expect a fun, relaxed class filled with step-by-step instruction, professional tips, storytelling, and the kind of encouragement that makes everyone feel like a chef.
The nature of our classes are set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment. To ensure the safety and enriching experience of all participants, we require children aged 14 to 17 be accompanied by a parent or guardian during our cooking classes. Classes are intended for adults 18+.
