Handmade Gnocchi

Description

With a few simple ingredients, a little muscle and a lot of love, whip up home-made pillow-soft dumplings just like Nonna! Pair with a delicious Pomodoro sauce and a glass of vino and you have a deliciously hearty meal to serve up for any occasion!

In this fun and interactive class, you will learn the tips and tricks of how to make a classic potato dough from scratch. Enjoy your gnocchi with a Pomodoro and cheese sauce that Chef Sandro will also teach you how to make from scratch.

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. The nature of our classes are set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment.

Drinks are NOT included in the ticket price. There will be drinks available for purchase at the venue. Outside drinks are not allowed. 21+ please.

Chef Sandro is originally from Mexico.  He believes that the best way to learn about a culture is by traveling. That’s why he's had the opportunity to travel a bit around Europe and South America.

In addition to traveling, he likes to read cookbooks and learn languages.  He speaks Spanish, English and French.  He is currently interested in Hydroponics and healthy food. Food can be delicious and healthy at the same time.  He also loves milkshakes!

The nature of our classes are set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment. Guests with single tickets may be asked to work with another individual or small group. Drinks are NOT included in the ticket price. There will be drinks available for purchase at the venue. Outside drinks are not allowed. 21+ please.
Cancellation policy
Reschedule request have to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. Cancellations are not permitted and tickets are non-refundable.See terms and policy.

I would have preferred an experience in a real kitchen where you get to cook all of the ingredients. Maybe feature wines that would go well with the dish.

We went to this cooking class for my mother's birthday. It was my first cooking class ever so I didn't know what to expect. We ended up having an absolute blast!! Sandro was an excellent host and teacher. He took things nice and slow, walked around for one-on-one instruction when needed, and kept the party going with a great playlist. Then to top it off the Gnocchi came out amazing (and I never cook). Thank you once again to Sandro! My family and I can't wait to come back again.
