Traditional Tiramisu Trio with an Italian Pastry Chef

Tiramisu is one of the most rightfully acclaimed Italian desserts.  Lady fingers dipped in coffee and layered with a mixture of eggs, sugar & mascarpone cheese, and topped with cocoa are the key ingredients and flavors that make this dessert unlike any other.



In this memorable, hands-on class, you will learn the art of making Tiramisu completely from scratch, guided by our Italian Pastry Chef Instructor.  We'll start by making the lady fingers from scratch, which is an art form in and of itself.  While they are baking, we'll make the mascarpone cream.  Each guest will make and take home a trio of Tiramisu.  The flavors will be Coffee, Matcha, and Strawberry.  By flavoring the lady fingers accordingly, you can use the same base but create a different flavor profile every time!

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. This class is designed to be just as fun for the baking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).

Guests in the same booking party will work together throughout the class.  Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in.  Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. Outside drinks are not allowed. 21+ only.

Meet your chef instructor
Chef Denis is a young pastry chef born and raised in the alps of Northern Italy. After graduating high school he decided to sign up to a Culinary pastry academy in Milan. After a couple of years of studying and training with world famous pastry chefs, he earned his degree as a pastry chef. After Milan, he decided to move to Rome where he lived for almost 6 years. He worked as the head pastry chef for an Italian restaurant/bakery in the city center. He LOVED and enjoyed his roman years but always had the dream to move to New York. When he least expected it, luck surprised him and he got a job as Head Pastry Chef at Angelina, a famous Italian bakery in NYC. Aside from work, he loves sports, being in nature and animals.

Guest requirement

Class will take place on the ground floor, in the lobby/dining area.  The nature of our classes are set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment.  Drinks are NOT included in the ticket price, but will be available for sale at the venue.  Outside drinks are not allowed. 21+ only.

Cancellation policy
Reschedule request have to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. Cancellations are not permitted and tickets are non-refundable.See terms and policy.

Class itself was great, Denis is awesomely instructor and it was easy to follow. Only downside was the actual place where class was held, since AC was not working, making the whole experience less enjoyable.

This class was amazing, and Chef Denis was wonderful! He’s so nice and welcoming, his background/experience is perfectly suited for a tiramisu class, he explained things really well, and the flow of his class setup/materials/steps) was super well organized. I don’t know what we loved more Chef Denis or the Tiramisu = ) I bought this experience for my Husband’s birthday and we had a blast… the Tiramisu was easy to make thanks to our amazing teacher. Everyone around us was also having fun and there was plenty to take home. We’re excited to try the bakery where the chef works in Manhattan because he is top notch. Highly recommend.
