Join Chef Michele from her Cape Cod kitchen as she takes you through the process of making a classic Chicken Pot Pie from scratch!

You will first learn to make Michele's Flaky Pie Crust. Save the recipe because this can be used for future sweet and savory baking! Mix together the ingredients and roll out the dough so that it can be used as the flaky top and bottom layers of your pie. Next, you'll work together to make the chicken pot pie filling, marrying together the beautiful and creamy textures and flavors that make this recipe so memorable and enjoyable. It truly is a treat to capture chicken, vegetables and gravy into a delicious pie crust.

You will receive an email with the equipment and ingredients list. However, the main ingredients required to participate along with the chef include: carrots, butter, onion, flour, salt, dried thyme, celery seed, chicken broth, milk, diced potatoes, chicken, corn, olive oil, and sour cream.

Prepare your mis-en-place ahead of the session by measuring out all of your ingredients as per the recipe and let’s get cooking together!

She received her Certified Culinarian and Prochef Certification from the Culinary Institute of America. Additionally, Chef Michele is a Wine Steward and Sommelier, receiving her Certified Wine and Spirits Expert Level 3 from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET). In addition to these accolades, Chef Michele is a successful business owner and operator, having experience with several internet sales and services businesses. Chef Michele enjoys elegant entertaining, fishing, Cape Cod beach life and creating new and exciting culinary treats! She also thrives on sharing her culinary and wine knowledge with all!

We will be sending you a list of ingredients and equipment you would need for this class. Please make sure you have everything measured out and ready as described so that you can follow along with our Chef in real time! A Zoom link will also be shared with you upon registration.
Cancellation policy
Reschedule request have to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. Cancellations are not permitted and tickets are non-refundable.See terms and policy.

My family loved this class. Michele discussed changing ingredients in the dough and in the filling. She encouraged us to work through our mistakes and by doing so, we had success. The class is well paced as prepping, shopping, and the importance of learning the hand method first and later using other tools such as a kitchen aid or food processor to mix the dough. I keep taking classes with Michele because I learn something every time. Her classes are a must for anyone who wants to learn cooking methods.
