Learn to make a classic Thai curry that rivals your favorite neighborhood takeaway spot! In this fun and hands-on class, you will learn how to master the tips and tricks of creating one of the most delicious and aromatic Thai dishes: Panang Curry. The Chef will walk you through creating this curry known for it's rich flavors of coconut, ginger and array of wonderful spices, all tied together in a tomato-based sauce with tender pieces of chicken. You will also learn how to make a refreshing Thai cucumber salad as an appetizer, garnished with chopped peanuts and cilantro. From chopping and slicing, to simmering and seasoning, then finally plating and indulging, this is an ultimate culinary experience that will transport you to a bustling and vibrant street of Thailand. Once you have finished creating your masterpieces, everyone will be able to enjoy this decadent dish with their new foodie friends.

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. You will be seated with your booking party and socially distanced from other guests. Our venue partner, Quigley Fine Wines, will have a wonderful selection of pours waiting for you. Outside drinks are not allowed. Hailing from New York where he gained his culinary degree and training, Chef Scott has excellent experience working with some of the top chefs, restaurant groups, and catering companies and has recently relocated to Tampa. He now offers teaching classes and his culinary expertise around Tampa for a wide range of clients.

The Quigley Fine Wines tasting room is open weekly Tuesday through Saturday from 4pm to 9pm. Comfortable and welcoming, the space allows clients to taste the boutique wines of Europe, Australia, and New Zealand that are carried exclusively through Quigley Fine Wines––as well as wines crafted by top California and Oregon winemakers. We now have 34 vineyards around the world that we are exclusive to in the United States. The tasting room is also available as a conveniently located, private event space in Downtown San Diego.
