Do you ever wish you could learn to recreate the recipes from your favorite Chinese takeout joint? You are in luck - Chef Scotty will show you how to recreate the sweet, spicy, and savory Orange Chicken!

Class will start with a little bit of background on the dish and how it came to be so popular! You will learn how to coat and shallow fry your protein in a special batter. Learn to make the quintessential Orange Chicken sauce which is also cooked to get the right flavor balance. Then garnish and plate your dish with rice and a side of veggies. Take a quick pic of your masterpiece, and then get ready to dig right in!

By the end of class, you will have all the cooking skills you need to master this Chinese takeout staple under your belt. No special luck from fortune cookies required!

This class is perfect for beginners! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you do not already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who is happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. Guests in the same booking party will work together throughout the class by sharing ingredients and equipment. Drinks are NOT included in the ticket price, but will be available for sale at the venue. Outside drinks are not allowed.

Guest requirement
The nature of our classes are set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment. Outside drinks are not allowed. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. To ensure the safety and enriching experience of all participants, we require children aged 14 to 17 be accompanied by a parent or guardian during our cooking classes. Classes are intended for adults 21+.

Cancellation policy
Reschedule request have to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. Cancellations are not permitted and tickets are non-refundable.See terms and policy.

We had a great time! It was a lot of fun, as well as informative. I leaned a few things! The food was DELICIOUS, and Chef Scotty walked us through each step. I'd definitely take a class with him again.

Chef Scotty was very knowledgeable, attentive and funny. We appreciated that his version of Orange Chicken was not deep fried. We would attend again! P.S. the only downside is we didn’t receive an email with the recipe of Orange Chicken sauce he made!

Super fun experience. Mom and I have tried to make orange chicken our self's and it never really turned out right. Here we learned the right way to do it, ingredients and how to prepare and cook. Super helpful that Scotty came to our tables to help one on one. My only complaint is that in the venue, the bar area of Duck foot beer, can get a little hard to hear with all the bar goers talking over things, but that not Scotty's fault. I like the brewery venue, maybe in a back room or a quiet Coner, some separation from the hot spot of the bar. Overall great fun experience, would recommend and take another class. Thanks Chef Scotty.
