Join us for a night in Italy to learn the secret of creating Ravioli from scratch. These Italian "dumplings" stuffed with rich ricotta cheese and tossed in satisfying scratch-made beef bolognese sauce will be sure to lure even the pickiest eater to the table.
In this fun and hands-on class, you will be guided step-by-step through basic knife skills, how to make pasta dough and filling from scratch, shaping and cutting the dough into perfect ravioli squares , then cooking them to perfection. You will also partake in making a classic bolognese sauce to pull the dish together. Once you have created your masterpiece, you will then plate, garnish and devour your creations with your fellow foodies joining you for this delicious cooking party! You will gain insight on how to source fresh, seasonal ingredients and specialty spices in order to recreate the perfect Italian date night at home.
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you do not already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who is happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).
