No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. Born in San Diego and raised in Ensenada (Baja, Mexico), Chef Lui grew up in a multicultural family driven by food and hospitality for generations. Naturally, he developed a passion for food and wine that drove him to become both a Chef and a Winemaker. Trained in classical French technique at the Napa Valley Cooking School, he has continued to pursue a career in the culinary world both in the U.S. and Mexico, focusing on promoting global flavors and fostering an appreciation for cultural diversity through food.
