In this fun-filled interactive class, you will enjoy learning how to make yeasted dough from scratch! Our experienced Pastry Chef Instructor will guide you step-by-step in replicating the process of making, kneading, proving, resting and shaping the dough, before teaching you how to fry your own doughnuts. You will then learn how to create classic glazes, before dipping and rolling your doughnuts and finishing them off with a variety of toppings! There's nothing like enjoying a doughnut while it's still warm!
No experience is required! All equipment and ingredients will be provided. Our events are casual and meant to be fun, relaxing and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in and get settled, while wearing your mask. Please note that class will be hosted in Chef Amanda's apartment with ample space to social distance booking parties from one another. Chef Amanda is also maintaining a sanitized space, for your safety, as per CDC guidelines. You are invited to BYOB beer, wine, or champagne with you to class.
