Our expert Chef Instructor will teach you the techniques to making this stuffed pasta and applying it to the lighter side of the palate, incorporating seasonal flavors for spring and summer. After learning how to form and knead your your pasta dough, you will use a rolling pin to roll it out by hand before filling your pasta sheets with a delicious homemade filling.
You will make and enjoy a beautiful Spinach Ricotta Ravioli with Lemon Zest and Arugula Sauce, a recipe you'll want to keep on hand for future dinners at home. This is a modern and local take on a classic Italian dish, using Houston's seasonal ingredients to show how versatile any dish can be.
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).
Please arrive on time, wearing your mask. Guests are invited to BYOB wine, beer, or champagne. Though we highly recommend a nice Italian wine! Please note that class will be hosted in Chef Sean's home kitchen. Chef Sean is also maintaining a sanitized space, for your safety, as per CDC guidelines.
