In this fun class, you will learn the art of making Gnocchi. First, we will learn about the history of Gnocchi making, exploring its culture and variations. Then, we will get our hands on fresh potatoes to make our dough. Once we have learned to create our shapes and form our dumplings, we will work on our sauce. In this lesson, you will learn how to create Potato Gnocchi with a classic roasted tomato sauce. These flavors are sure to transport you straight to the hills of Northern Italy. Let's discover the mystery behind these fluffy treats and create a dish that can be easily done at home!

All ingredients are easily available at local grocery stores or even in your own home right now so impressing your friends and family with your incredible pasta making skills has never been easier!

No experience needed! All ingredients and cooking equipment is provided for you so all that’s needed is a passion for food and a willingness to learn something new. From the budding chef who wants to expand on their culinary prowess to the person who has never picked up a spatula, this class caters to all and welcomes all levels of learning!

To ensure the safety and enriching experience of all participants, we require children aged 14 to 17 be accompanied by a parent or guardian during our cooking classes. Classes are intended for adults 21+.

Veronica is a Certified Culinarian with the American Culinary Federation (ACF). She is a Los Angeles based journalist, food influencer, home cooking coach, recipe developer and food judge Veronica is also a blog creator where she shares recipes and tells food stories.

The Hyatt Place hotel is 1.9 miles from Los Angeles International Airport and 4 miles from the long-standing Manhattan Beach Pier.
Guest requirement
Outside Drinks are not allowed. Our venue partner Hyatt Place has a full bar where drinks will be available to purchase. The nature of our classes are set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment. To ensure the safety and enriching experience of all participants, we require children aged 14 to 17 be accompanied by a parent or guardian during our cooking classes. Classes are intended for adults 21+
Cancellation policy
Reschedule request have to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. Cancellations are not permitted and tickets are non-refundable.See terms and policy.

Chef Veronica was awesome! She very clearly explained what we were going to do and gave us a demonstration so we knew what would happen. She suggested different ways to eat the gnocchi and different types of sauces. She checked on us quite often in case we had questions. She’s also very funny! It was a really fun experience! I would’ve enjoyed it even without having my friends there. It was good to meet new people and they were very nice. The place was easy to find, roomy and the restrooms were clean. Great experience! I hope to attend another class soon.
