Classic and Creative Cocktails

Description

Shake things up while exploring both timeless classics and creative twists in this hands-on cocktail class.

In Classic and Creative Cocktails, you’ll dive into the foundations of mixology while crafting a mix of well-loved staples and vibrant, modern drinks. Whether you’re new to bartending or looking to elevate your cocktail game, this class is designed to build your skills and confidence behind the bar.

You'll begin with guided tastings and demonstrations of four distinct cocktails, each highlighting a unique technique and flavor profile: Manhattan – A smooth, spirit-forward classic stirred to perfection with whiskey, sweet vermouth, and bitters. Learn proper stirring, dilution, and garnish techniques. Classic Daiquiri – This bright, citrusy Cuban original proves that less is more. You'll shake up a perfectly balanced combination of rum, lime juice, and simple syrup. Classic Mai Tai – A bold, tropical drink made with aged rum, lime, and orange liqueur. You’ll discover how to build layered flavor and a show-stopping presentation. Cosmopolitan – A modern, vibrant twist made with vodka, cranberry, lime, and orange liqueur. Great for practicing citrus balance and expressive shaking.

After sampling, you’ll pair up to recreate your two favorite cocktails using professional bar tools and techniques. By the end of the class, you’ll leave with a solid foundation in cocktail making—and a few new favorites in your repertoire.

Whether you’re a total beginner or just looking to level up your home bartending game, this interactive and fun experience will have you mixing with confidence.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in.  Guests will work in groups of two throughout the class by sharing ingredients and equipment, but we are happy to seat you with your booking party if you are with a bigger group.  Outside drinks are not allowed. 21+ only.
